Udah tuh keliling town nyari sesuatu yang pengen dibeli, aku inget banget pas pertama kali bayar aku nyodorin uang kertas £10 an, trus ada kembaliannya £5 dan recehan, kelar di satu toko, lanjut ke toko lainnya, beli 1 kartu ucapan bayar pake £5 yang tadi, trus ada kembaliannya sekitar £2 (dalam bentuk 2 £1 koin an) dan recehan kecil. Nah kelar ditown, janjian ma Paul ketemu di sebuah coffee shop deket pantai. I like looking out the windows to see the back garden, the houses behind, watching birds flying pass or even watching the snow coming down, like what's happening at the moment. At this time of year when it is winter, it's very windy and freezing cold, I bet you guys don't want to be outside, do you? <IMG src="http://images.multiply.com/common/smiles/smile.png"> cos I don't, especially I'm from a tropical country where I used to a very very hot weather. So, it's better to stay at home, sit at the table with a cup of tea in your hands. <IMG src="http://images.multiply.com/common/smiles/cup.png"> For me, house and home mean the same, but for some people may not. Like my mother-in-law, everytime I speak to or see her, she always asks me, 'Have you heard anything from home?' She meant 'home' here is my family in Indonesia, my homecountry. We've been invited Paul 'Fuzzy' and girlfriend Laura to dine with us at home few weeks ago, and last night he rung Paul to let us know that Laura would love to come tomorrow night. Mmmhhh...thinking about the menu as Laura is a vegetarian, doesn't eat meat (chicken, beef, etc) but sometimes she eats fish and other seafood. Well, I'm thinking to cook Gado-gado with different veggies and peanut sauce OR urab-urab with veggies, and bakwan jagung (corn fritters), udang goreng (fried king prawns), some prawns crackers and beef rendang for 3 of us and boiled rice of course. Another friend of Paul and his partner, they are both vegetarian. And one night, we invited them for dinner, we had gado-gado, they was so pleased with the food, they said everytime they go out for dinner at their friend's house, normally people only serve pasta and sauce with no meat, it tastes so plain. And I think the saying 'we are what we eat' could not be truer than for our children. The recipe is so simple and delicious, of course. It was only around north of England. That was the first snow for this winter, it started snowing from about 3am in the morning until 11am-12pm, it wasn't as thick as I would have thought cos I was gonna make a snowman for the kids. But I managed to record when it was snowing, and after that I opened the window and grabbed a handful of the ice and gave it to Danny..it was so cold...We were laughing together as Danny were shouting 'Mummy, cold..cold..cold' what a little fun..hehehe Not long after that the snow has stopped and the sun rised brightly and swept all the snow...everywhere was white, road, trees, grass, houses...white everywhere. http://lqwood.multiply.com/video/item/26/Snowing Fri, 4 Jan 2008 20:47:09 -0000
